Creating an audio CD with CBurner

Creating an audio CD with CBurner is very easy and simple, just follow these steps:

  1. Create a new audio project, you can do it from main screen or form Menu->File->New Project->Audio CD
  2. Drag or paste audio files into the project
  3. Click "Burn project" button or select Menu->Burner->Burn Project
  4. Select adequate options at the dialog box (for example verify after burn) and click OK

That's all. Very easy. At the top you can see a progress bar that show the space occupied with the minimal CD requirements for burn the audio files.

CBurner uses DirectShow for uncompress audio data and convert to CD audio format, so for convert a specific type of audio file you must have installed the appropriate DirectShow filter. The following are some links to filters:

For create an Audio CD with the best quality you should use loseless format like ape, flac or wav. If you use mp3, ogg you will get the same quality of these files.
